STEP 1
After the calves are nursed, the cows are milked by hand. The milk is nutrient dense with a slight golden tint.
-
STEP 2
Our pure golden milk is boiled in an earthen pot to make it bacteria-free.
-
STEP 3
Once the milk has cooled down, a spoonful of curd is added. It is then left overnight to condense into curd.
P.S.- Ghee made from curd is the healthiest alternative, as curd is a probiotic that helps to maintain the gut health.
-
STEP 4
Through the bilona process, the curd is hand-churned in clockwise and anti-clockwise motions to separate butter and buttermilk.
This tedious method is carried out everyday, to get fresh butter.
-
STEP 5
After the butter is taken out of the buttermilk, it is heated in an earthen container over a wood fire.
Slowly, the water evaporates and the shudh desi golden ghee takes its form.
This golden bliss is now gently sieved into a jar of Farme A2 Ghee.
