As a mother is the source of nourishment for the newborn, so is the soil for all the plants and microbes that thrive on it. To maintain the natural quotient of the soil we use Jeevamrut (a fermented cattle waste along with jaggery and besan) and the buttermilk (from which butter is separated to make ghee) as fertilisers. The vegetation that grows on the soil is directly consumed by our gir cows. Interestingly, the humus level of the soil is maintained by the compression of their light hooves and dung.

We are farming to produce traceable organic products. The gir cows, the smouldered earthen pots, the rattling of bilona sticks and the whiff of the farmland will make you fall in love with the farm life.
